Doin' Tricks

Went riding with Kareem and Sean over the weekend.  Sean snapped this pic of me right before my rear axle broke.  Gotta love the crazy face--

26" Fixed

Latest wheel build-- 26" Velocity Cliffhanger rims laced to Profile True 3/8" hubs.  Pretty sick build and going to a great guy in Canada.  We're international folks!

Twilight before Twilight Alleycat Friday April 23rd Athens

Some friends of mine in Athens are throwing an Alley Cat the night before the Twilight Criterium.  Come out and race-- then stick around for some awesome professional racing on Saturday.

After the race Anchor Tattoo will be having a bike themed art opening.  Swing by for some great art and great tattoo work.

More Broken Parts

So after about 2 months of running a rear peg, yes I run a peg, finally snapped an axle.  The Velocity hubs that I'm running have been awesome-- cheap and pretty strong, and truly, asking a 10mm non-hardened axle to stand up to grinds is a lot to ask.  Luckily Kareem had a spare axle and in about ten minutes I was back up and running.

Broken Axle

Wonder if anyone makes a hardened axle or a 14mm fixed hub?
